Para realizar esta evaluaci\u00f3n se utiliza la nemotecnia ABC<\/p>\n

A: \u201cAirway\u201d abrir v\u00eda a\u00e9rea y control de cervicales.
\nB: \u201cbreath\u201d ventilaci\u00f3n.
\nC: \u201ccirculation\u201d circulaci\u00f3n y control de hemorragias.<\/p>\n

A: Abrir v\u00edas a\u00e9reas y verificar riesgos de obstrucci\u00f3n.<\/strong> para que el aire llegue a los pulmones, observando, por lo tanto, el nivel de CONSCIENCIA.
\n\u221a<\/span> Se abre la\u00a0boca en busca de algo que pueda obstruir la v\u00eda a\u00e9rea, en caso de haber algo\u00a0a nuestro alcance lo retiramos haciendo un barrido de gancho con el dedo\u00a0\u00edndice.
\n\u221a<\/span>\u00a0En caso de no haber nada vamos a hacer la t\u00e9cnica de inclinaci\u00f3n de cabeza para una mejor aireaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

B: Buscar respiraci\u00f3n (ver, oir y sentir).<\/strong> Se utiliza la nemotecnia; Ver:<\/strong> el pecho del paciente (si sube y baja).\u00a0Escuchar<\/strong>: la respiraci\u00f3n y\u00a0Sentir<\/strong>: el aire que sale por la boca o nariz. Hay que determinar si respira por si solo, con\u00a0que frecuencia y que tan profundas son las\u00a0respiraciones.
\n\u221a<\/span>\u00a0Si hay ausencia de respiraci\u00f3n, se debe restablecer de forma inmediata.<\/p>\n

C: Controlar la circulaci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Se determina la presencia de signos de\u00a0circulaci\u00f3n, como el pulso o la coloraci\u00f3n de la\u00a0piel, si est\u00e1 p\u00e1lido, azulado; la temperatura \u00a0corporal. Y\u00a0revisar si presenta alguna\u00a0hemorragia evidente.
\n\u221a<\/span> Si falta el pulso carot\u00eddeo, deber\u00e1n de iniciarse las maniobras de RCP<\/p>\n
